LEADERSHIP CIRCLE
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Remote (US Mountain Time preferred)
Reports To: VP of Engineering
Type: Full-Time
Overview
At Leadership Circle, we’re reimagining how leadership grows—from one-time events to personalized, continuous, human-centered experiences. We’re seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer who is energized by building 0→1 products, thrives in ambiguity, and enjoys shaping high-impact products alongside a close-knit, cross-functional team.
As a senior member of our engineering team, you’ll work across the stack to help bring new platform experiences to life. As we evolve from product to platform, you’ll play a key role in defining architecture, delivering reliable and scalable services, and evolving our technical foundation—all grounded in rapid iteration and a deep empathy for end users.
Responsibilities
· Architect and build new 0–1 platform features using modern AWS-native patterns (e.g., serverless, event-driven, managed services).
· Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and fellow engineers to shape product direction and deliver customer value iteratively—owning feasibility, speed, and quality.
· Lead technical discovery, define pragmatic architecture, and balance long-term scalability with rapid MVP delivery.
· Write maintainable, production-quality code across the stack (primarily TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL/Auroa).
· Establish and uphold engineering best practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, observability, secure cloud infrastructure, and performance.
· Help grow a strong engineering culture through mentorship, technical leadership, and a mindset of continuous improvement.
· Stay current with new technologies and help us explore emerging tools, including AI, to accelerate development and enrich user experiences.
Requirements
· 7+ years software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in a senior capacity.
· Proven success in 0–1 product delivery, especially within fast-paced or startup environments.
· Solid hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, RDS/Aurora) and infrastructure-as-code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
· Strong architectural judgment with a preference for speed, clarity, and modularity.
· Comfort in ambiguity, collaborative brainstorming, and rapid iteration.
· Strong communication and a team-first mindset—your impact extends beyond code.
· Bonus: Experience building with AI/ML tools (e.g., OpenAI APIs, RAG systems, vector search) or a strong interest in AI-augmented features.
