The Role
Overview
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead our outbound marketing activities for our Consulting and Coaching Services Business Units. You’ll be responsible for presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales.
For this role, you must be a creative and quantitative thinker. You should be familiar with various product marketing techniques, like email campaigns, positioning and pricing strategies. You will also be responsible for defining audience for these programs and developing audience personas and guides in conjunction with our VP of Marketing and Content Editor. Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products and to understand our audience inside and out.
Responsibilities
Study company products
Develop and promote key audience insights for use in all marketing channels
Translate technical details of products into benefits for the specific audience
Follow and analyze market trends to position products accurately and with distinction
Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)
Craft compelling messages across marketing channels that are based in data and audience research (landing pages, ad campaigns)
Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies
Test marketing product features, releases and ad copy
Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager or similar role
Background in design and copywriting is a plus
Experience in market analysis
Familiar with product marketing tactics
Working knowledge of web analytics tools
Excellent communication skills
Keen eye for detail
Creativity
Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or similar field
